The Friends of the Wallingford Animal Shelter was founded in 2021 by a group of people who are dedicated to supporting the work of Wallingford Animal Control.

Our History

Our team is made up high school students, working adults and retirees who volunteer for a number of different tasks that either include direct animal care, administrative or fundraising.

Volunteer Opportunities

We welcome high school and adult volunteers.

Volunteers are always needed to help exercise and socialize the animals in the shelter. Training is provided.
