FoWAS is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization founded with the mission of sustaining this unique artists community by supporting their purchase of their existing studios. Artists already pay the ongoing maintenance and operating expenses for the Western Avenue Studios. FoWAS is dedicated to making it feasible for the artists to continue to work and engage the public at Western Avenue Studios. To that end, we depend on support from individuals, corporations, and foundations who appreciate the value of a vibrant arts community in Massachusetts.
