Our Mission
The Friends of the Wallingford Animal Shelter is a community resource whose mission is to actively and positively support, assist and promote the Wallingford Animal Shelter. We work to provide resources for the comfort, health and well-being of the animals in the shelter. Improve the lives of animals through adoption, education and community partnerships.
Our Programs
We offer a variety of programs, including Rescue Readers, where kids and adults come to the shelter to read to the cats and dogs.

Volunteers are the backbone of our organization. We offer a variety of opportunities for individuals and groups to get involved and make a difference in the lives of the animals.
